Degraded response time and intermittent authentication failures

Following the deployment of an API update, between 09:20 to 10:00 CET the web application experienced increased response times and some end users encountered authentication errors when attempting to login.

Although the issue was promptly resolved, our self-healing system inadvertently contributed to the extended downtime by attempting to rectify the situation without knowledge of the specific use case.

To address this, our team will be enhancing the self-healing process to prevent similar incidents in the future.
